Luxury Travel In Rwanda

Rwanda is home to one of Earth’s most mesmerizing wildlife encounters: meeting a mountain gorilla in his own backyard. We believe locking eyes with one of these gentle, inquisitive, and thoughtful creatures is one of most remarkable experiences you can enjoy on any journey in sub-Saharan Africa, and many agree — it’s the main reason most travelers head to Rwanda.

But although the mountain gorillas are a wonderful reason to visit, there is more to Rwanda than the wildlife — gorgeous countrysides, a compelling recent history, and resilient and warm people make tours of Rwanda one of our favorite experiences in Africa. Whether you want to pair it with Uganda, a more traditional safari destination, or visit Rwanda on its own. My Way Travel staff are experts on the region and look forward to introducing you to this incredible land on an unforgettable luxury Rwanda vacation.
Luxury Travel In Rwanda

My Way Travel’s Rwanda tours open this verdant land of mountainous rainforests to adventurous travelers and naturalists in search of unforgettable wildlife and cultural experiences. The five extinct volcanoes of Parc National Des Volcans are brimming with surreal views and fantastic paths for trekking, and with private luxury travel to Rwanda, tours are led by expert guides that know the forests like no one else. The trackers will provide you with a rare and intimate glimpse into the lives of the mountain gorillas, the country’s most valuable resource. While less than 900 mountain gorillas are estimated to survive, Rwanda and Uganda are two countries where you can see some of the last remaining members of the species in their natural habitat. It’s hard to believe that humans share 98.4% of the same DNA with gorillas — until you see them interact in person!

On your luxury Rwanda vacation, we also recommend a dugout canoe ride on the sparkling Bulera Lake, a visit to a local school, or a hike to Dian Fossey’s grave and cemetery (where she buried Digit, her beloved gorilla).

The Republic of Rwanda has made great strides to recover from its complicated past. In an effort to better understand the events of 1994, we recommend a visit to the Kigali Memorial Centre on all of our Rwanda tours, a moving tribute to the nearly one million people that lost their lives during the genocide.
Rwanda Tours

Luxury travel in Rwanda is a one-of-a-kind experience, and with My Way Travel’s Rwanda private luxury tours you can be one of very few who are lucky enough to witness these majestic, and tragically diminishing creatures, for yourself.

Please note: Gorilla trekking is a physically strenuous activity, during which visitors may spend from one to eight hours hiking through dense rainforest in an effort to see gorillas in their natural habitat. A reasonable degree of fitness and stamina is required for any programs that include gorilla trekking.
